Parental Supervisor

Mike Romps Youth Mentor

As a Parental Supervisor, my role is to provide a calm, neutral, and supportive presence during family interactions. My focus is always on the well-being of the child while helping create an environment where healthy and respectful interactions can occur.

During supervised interactions, I make objective and factual observations while supporting safe communication when appropriate. My role is not to judge or take sides, but to help ensure that time spent together remains positive, structured, and child-focused.

In many cases, supervised interactions can be an important step toward rebuilding trust, strengthening relationships, and helping families move toward reunification.

When a Parental Supervisor May Be Needed

Families may benefit from a Parental Supervisor in situations such as:

High-conflict separation or divorce

Rebuilding trust between a parent and child

Court-recommended supervised visitation

Situations where a neutral adult presence provides comfort and safety

Families working toward reunification after time apart

My goal is always to help create safe, structured opportunities for parents and children to reconnect.
